To Tide You Over…
Ya’ll may or may not have noticed that I’ve been slowly adding to my link list, but I wanted to draw special attention to what has been my favorite discovery of the last week: Dave’s Cupboard.
Dave is a gentleman who largely reviews foods he finds at his local grocery store, Big Lots! and Asian market. He has the tastebuds of a much younger man (his blog might imply he lives largely on blue food and Pop Tarts), but has the calm blogging demeanor of a greybeard. In fact, I think I might find him so endearing because he reminds me of my own dad, if my dad ate a meat¹.
Back to Dave: anyone who can earnestly review tin after tin of canned fish (which I LOVE in a way a woman should not love a shelf-stable animal product) and can still throw in a well-timed scrotum joke is a friend of mine.
¹That was a typo and I’m keeping it because it made me laaaaaaugh.
